Hope’s Delight

Good morning and welcome to your mid-week!

When it comes to which foundation to stand upon, Apostle Paul makes it clear: Stand on the hope we have in Christ Jesus.

The hope we have in Christ Jesus is eternal.

The hope we have in Christ Jesus is a living hope.

The hope we have in Christ Jesus is not dependent on our situation but secured by God’s promises and power.

When we stand on that foundation we receive strength to endure trials, fuel to persevere, and power to move forward when all else is hopeless.

This is why Apostle Paul tells us that his hope does not put us to shame - that his hope does not disappoint. The world’s hope is uncertain, but God's hope is guaranteed. Why? Because it’s rooted not in circumstances, but in His unchanging love.

Whatever burdens you carry, whatever disappointments weigh you down—know this: If your hope is in Christ, it will never disappoint. His love has already been poured into your heart. Hold on to that. Walk in that. And share that hope with others.

May we be a people whose hope is unshaken—not because life is easy, but because God is faithful.
