Welcome to your mid-week!
Last Sunday Pastor Diana preached on Jesus looking at the gospel of John, and she focused on Jesus as the healer.
With a world that is broken by sin, there will always be times of lament and hopelessness because we know that we were meant for better. That God shaped hole in our soul still yearns for that life that we had before the fall.
And so, crying out is the natural response. It is something we should not be ashamed of or fight against.
And the one we should cry out to is Jesus. As Pastor Diana said:
"We live in a world that is broken. We live in a world that is corrupt. And, during an indecent time, we look to Jesus as the ultimate healer who restores not just our spirits but also our bodies and unjust immoral laws and systems. We do not look to a temporary fix...we look to Eternal healing that only comes from Jesus."
God's blessing as you mediate on Jesus as the Healer, and I look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday.
