Welcome to your mid-week!
We see in 2 Corinthians 7:5, that when Apostle Paul experienced physical, social, external, and internal burdens in Macedonia, he shared them with the church of Corinth via his correspondence with them. Now, how did God comfort him? Was it via private prayer or solitary waiting on the Lord?
No.
God comforted him through Christian friendship; through the church. As the burden was shared and passed down, comfort came back, like a baton passed in a relay race, from the people of God to Titus and then from Titus to Paul. And the result:
greater joy.
This is why Apostle Paul tells the churches of Galatia to carry each other burden's. He was not trying to burden them with more burdens. No. He was giving them a source of more comfort, longer endurance, and greater joy.
And all of that starts with sharing.
God's blessing upon you as you wrestle with the commands of God and I look forward to seeing you all this Sunday.

- New Registration Numbers for All Members
Accounting has requested that all EM members get new registration numbers to put on their offering envelopes moving forward for accounting purposes. These new numbers are found in the back of the chapel. For those who are not members, please put your name and the letters ‘EM’ on your envelope if you want to have a record of your offering for tax purposes.
