When Apostle Paul looked back on his life and compared it to where he was, he gave all credit to God's grace.

For Apostle Paul, he viewed himself as a monster. He use to be a persecutor of the church. He use to drag men and women out of their homes. He labeled himself in 1 Corinthians 15:8 as 'abnormally born' because he believed something must have been wrong with him to do the things that he did against the church of God.

However, Christ still appeared to Apostle Paul. Last to be picked but still picked. That was God's amazing grace on Apostle Paul. And that grace was not without effect. No, by the power of God's grace, Paul was able to change. He was able to change from a monster to a follower of Christ.

And that is both our encouragement and our challenge.

No matter what wrongs we have done. No matter how much of a monster we think we are, God still loves us. That's his amazing grace. But that grace does not come without purpose. It comes with the power to change. 

Maybe you think you cannot change. Maybe you think the cards you've been dealt are all you have to play with. Well, by the grace of God you do have the power to change. By the grace of God, your 'can'ts' can become 'cans.' Maybe not by your own well, but by the power of God, you can.

God's blessing upon you this week as you wrestle with the word of God and I look forward to seeing you all this Sunday.
