Today is August 3, 2022
Welcome to August and your mid-week!
In the 1930's Fletcher and Munson discovered that our ears hear the frequencies between 2k-4k louder than what they are delivered at. In essence, our ears were made to hear the cries of our children.
As children of God, wouldn't it make sense then that the Lord hears our cries. That, he wants to hear our cries.
And crying to the Lord is more than just about receiving God's help. When we cry to the Lord we are reminding ourselves of God's mercy, refocusing our perspective to a Godly perspective, and putting our hope not in ourselves but to our Father in heaven.
That, in turn, helps us to give credit to the Lord for every good and perfect thing, and makes us more compassionate to those around us.
Therefore, let us cry to the Lord more, for that is what children of God do.
God's blessing upon you as cry to the Lord, and I look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday.

- For those that missed last Sunday's Membership Class 1, which was a seminar on our denomination - PCUSA, you can find the recording of it HERE
- Please note that, to become an active member, the church has asked that all who missed this class to please write up a 1 page response on your thoughts (new things learned, points of interests, areas you would like further information on, questions, etc) of the seminar to be given to Pastor Frank on Sunday.
