TFPC EM NEWSLETTER - JULY 8, 2020

A Step of Fatih
Today is July 08, 2020
Welcome to your mid-week!
Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that God loves it when we act in faith. Big or small, there are many ways we can act in faith; many ways we can be God-fearing, people of integrity to the people we interact with and the responsibilities we have each day. Examples of people being faithful are found all over the bible:
Moses was faithful in God's house.
David and Isaiah’s scribes were faithful in their professions.
Nehemiah appointed various people who were faithful with their money.
Hanani and Hananiah were faithful leaders.
Lydia was faithful in opening up her home.
Samuel was a faithful child.
Onesimus and Silvanus were faithful brothers.
Daniel was faithful in front of his enemies.
Acting in faith is something that we should naturally do as we learn more about God's faithfulness and experience it in our lives. Knowing leads to trusting, which leads to acting in faith. And that is what all Christians should be striving for because that is what pleases God.
So, to encourage us to act in faith more, I would like to ask a couple of things from you.
1. Can you send me a picture or small video clip of either a) and example of God being faithful in your life, or b) you acting in faith. We are in month 5 of our pandemic and I want to create a slide show movie showing our community. I think our community would be blessed and encourage to see you walking in faith and you seeing them.
2. This Sunday we will offer the online worship service via Zoom. You need to click HERE and register (Zoom will be offered for both services eventhough the registration has only one time stamp). Once you register a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with the Zoom info. Zoom offers us the ability to worship and pass the peace face-to-face, which is another way we can encourage one another to act in faith.
God's blessing and protection over you and your family and I look forward to seeing you all onsite or online this Sunday.
